You Can’t See Me: Masked Photos of Faceless Society

4 April 2010 View Comments

For some the biggest worry is ‘this economy’ for others is a life and death struggle to every breathe. Namely for the faceless masses so many choose to ignore more often than acknowledge. All of these photos put a face on the strange and crazy world we now live in. By masking the individual we can sometimes see thru to the meaning of the struggle… or are we once again just making it faceless?

Words failed to be as strong as the photographs themselves. Perhaps a revolutionary trip through a side of the world you had forgotten about. There will soon be 10 billion humans on earth, why do so few command so many? Do we not all have a voice, are we not all on the most basic of levels the same?

We all eat sleep and live our lives, either for family or future. Regardless of religion do we not all just want to lay down each day knowing our tribe is safe and our night will be peaceful? As our world society grows in this new media revolution, maybe, just maybe, we can all learn to speak and live.
